By placing an Order, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as laid out below. These do not affect your statutory rights. Any contract created by placing an order with us will be governed by English law.
We accept orders via our website, by email , telephone, fax and post. Please check availabilty of New Leica Equipment before placing an order via the Website
All web orders are acknowledged, availability and price of goods confirmed; unless previously discussed. All orders are subject to price review in case of mistakes, if pricing mistakes have been made due to errors in entry to the web site, the site owner reserves the right to withdraw the item from sale.
We aim to ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment; assuming the goods are in stock and allowing for Weekends and Business holidays. If items are not in stock, we will let you know; and will advise, to the best of our knowledge, how long they are likely to be and the options open to you as a result.
If you wish to wait, we accept your order and await our delivery and ship as soon as they arrive.
If your order can be partially completed but for a few small items; we can arrange for these to follow; usually by post at No additional cost.
All orders placed via our website are charged immediately, by our UK secure online payment service provider : Protx
VAT & Duty
If you live or the goods are being delivered within the EU; we have to charge you UK VAT (currently at 20%) If you are EU based (not UK) and can supply us with a valid EU VAT Registration number; which we can verify as being attributable to the business or name you wish us to charge. We operate Special Margin Scheme VAT on Used Equipment
Purchases made from outside the European Union are VAT exempt, however you may be liable for local Customs duty and or taxes. Please check with your local authorities what is applicable as we are unable to advise on this.
Carriage & Delivery
All carriage charges are based on what it costs us.
We prefer to use Royal Mail Special Delivery for the dispatch of our goods.
Delivery times quoted are our best estimates of the service offered by our couriers and we shall not be held liable for any consequential loss or damage resulting from failure to meet these times.
All new Leica equipment (unless stated otherwise) is supplied with a Leica Passport Warranty. All Pre-owned equipment is supplied with a either a 6 month warranty, or the remainder of the original manufacturer warranty (if applicable, whichever is longest).
Any faults should be reported to us at the earliest instance in order to assist with any warranty claims.
Goods returned faulty within 10 days in as new condition in their original packaging with all the components intact will be replaced or the monies refunded; up to 28 days the goods will be replaced or the monies refunded at our discretion; after 28 days or in used condition will be repaired under warranty. We shall not be liable for any consequential loss or damage resulting from the supply of goods or services or their failure, malfunction or unsuitability or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If you wish to return to goods to us please contact us first. Please be sure that the equipment you are ordering is what you require and is suitable for your purpose. We can accept returns or exchanges within 7 working days of receipt of an original sales invoice for on-line sales only. All returns must be accompanied by the original sales invoice. Please Note that we do not refund Carriage costs unless the goods were incorrectly supplied. We reserve the right to make a restocking fee for goods correctly supplied and will only accept goods in new condition, in their original packaging with all components intact with the unused warranty paperwork.
Purchases made from our shop on a face to face basis are supplied with a non-return policy unless they are faulty, in which case our faulty goods policy still holds true.
